328 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason for the delay in processing a visa application from a person (details supplied); the reason for the subsequent refusal to grant a visa; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20327/98]
The position in this case remains as set out in my answer to the Deputy's question on Thursday, 18 June of this year. The Irish reference in this application was contacted by the visa section in my Department and advised of the nature of the additional information required. To date this information has not been received.
