256 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will revise the penalty imposed on a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny on his application under the 22 month special beef premium scheme for 1996 where the information given was a genuine error on his part. [21221/98]

The headage and premia appeals unit have fully examined this case and the herd-owner was notified on 22 September 1998 that his appeal had been unsuccessful. In the absence of any new evidence, there are no grounds for re-examination of the case.
