Applications for exemption from certain taxes by bodies established for charitable purposes are considered by the Revenue Commissioners under the provisions of the relevant tax legislation. Decisions in this area are a matter for the Revenue Commissioners who deal with applications of this nature without reference to me as Minister for Finance.
