Ceist:435 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of referrals to health boards made to date by the courts in proceedings brought pursuant to the Guardianship of Infants Act, 1964, for assessments to be undertaken and reports furnished to the appropriate court under section 20 of the Child Care Act, 1991; the number of children to which such orders have related in respect of each health board; the number of children within each health board area in respect of whom these reports have been made and are currently awaited by the courts and those in respect of whom courts have awaited reports between three to six months and in excess of six months.
