599 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will draw the attention of the Garda Commissioner to the contents of a book (details supplied); if he will ensure that a copy of the book is shown to the senior garda investigating disappearances of persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the Garda Commissioner has already received, unsolicited, a copy of the book in question. I am informed that the Garda authorities consider it inappropriate to comment on the book.
