695 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide an update on progress at Coláiste Chionn Tor, Castlepollard, County Westmeath; when construction will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21302/98]
The extension project at Coláiste Cionn Tiorc is proceeding through the architectural planning process. County Westmeath Vocational Education Committee has recently forwarded stage two (outline sketch scheme) of the project to the planning and building unit of my Department.
As this project is at an early stage of the architectural planning process the question of commencing construction does not arise at this time.
