699 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an application from the Dominican College, Dublin 9, to build a small extension, to make some internal structure modifications and to repair the roof; if so, if the three parts of this development plan will proceed in one phase in order to reduce costs and minimise disruption to pupils; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application for an extension and internal modifications to the Dominican College, Dublin 9 has been received in my Department and the project is proceeding through the architectural planning process. The school's design team for the project is currently working on stage 2 (outline sketch scheme) of my Department's design team procedure.
An application has also been received for repairs to the roof.
The question of allowing these projects to proceed in one phase will be considered.
