The competitiveness employment protection unit of my
Department provides advice and guidance mainly to small firms, as well as ensuring, as far as possible, that firms in difficulty are identified in time to ensure that corrective action can be taken. The unit works closely with the State agencies and other organisations in discharging its functions.
