The Company to which the Deputy refers has applied for a licence to cultivate mussels in Lough Swilly, County Donegal. That application is under consideration in my Department.
Also under consideration is an application by the company for funding for the proposed operations under the aquaculture meaasure of the Fisheries Operational Programme 1994-99.
