312 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the plans, if any, he has to increase the disabled person's grant; if he has considered the need to reduce the personal contribution from a disabled person towards this grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Improvements to the terms of the disabled person's grant scheme are under examination in the context of An Action Programme for the Millennium. I hope to be in a position to announce decisons arising from this examination in the near future.
