Ceist:138 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in approving a C2 certificate for a haulage contractor (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if this will be expedited. [23992/98]
Written Answers. - Tax Clearance Certificates.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's application for a C2 certificate was received on 4 November 1998. The Inspector of Taxes has written to the taxpayer requesting further information which is needed to process the application. When this information is received the taxpayer's application will be given priority.
