338 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science the status of an application for funding towards improvement of recreational facilities for Coláiste Abbain, Adamstown, Enniscorthy, County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25544/98]
County Wexford Vocational Education Committee made application for funding in 1997 to purchase a property for use by Coláiste Abbain, Adamstown, County Wexford. The purpose was to provide a facility for physical education at the school.
My Department provided funding to the vocational education committee for the purchase.
No further applications have been received by the planning and building unit of my Department in respect of this school.
