336 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of fines issued by the gardaí for parking in a parking bay for a person with disabilities since the introduction of the regulations; when these offences took place; the location in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that statistics in relation to the number of fines issued by the Garda for illegal parking in a disabled person's parking bay are not readily available.

The information sought by the Deputy could be compiled only by the diversion to the task of a disproportionate amount of Garda time and resources.
