380 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the application by Scoil Sailearna, Indreabhán, Contae na Gaillimhe, for the provision of seven extra rooms, basketball courts and a carpark; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26607/98]
My Department has no record of receipt of an application from Scoil Sailearna for the provision of seven extra rooms, basketball courts and a carpark. However, an application has been received for grant-aid towards roof repairs and an additional classroom. The school has been advised that my Department will grant-aid the roof repair. The application for the additional classroom is under consideration and my Department will be in touch with the school in the matter.
