I propose to take Questions Nos. 91 and 145 together.
The condition of young officers' living accommodation is kept under review and refurbishment and routine maintenance are undertaken as circumstances require and the availability of resources permits. Proposals to improve officer accommodation in Collins Barracks, Cork, and in Connolly Barracks, Curragh, are under consideration and I am hopeful that it will be possible for arrangements to be made to commence both projects before the end of 1999.
