Details of the consultancy assignments entered into by my Department since July 1997, including those which were ongoing at the time of the establishment of the Department, are listed on the following tabular statement. Other contractual agreements have arisen in respect of wide ranging services associated with the day-to-day running of the Department. These include the acquisition and maintenance of office machinery such as IT equipment and software, photocopiers, fax machines, flexi-time system, telecommunications equipment and other office premises expenses. Details of the main suppliers are also attached.
Given the volume of individual payments or disbursements relating to the general operations of my Department, to provide the level of detail requested by the Deputy would take an inordinate amount of time in my Department which would not represent an efficient use of official time and funds.
