Ceist:

334 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will review the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 22 whose ten year old son has been diagnosed as dyslexic; and if he will be admitted to a reading school. [2415/99]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin):

The case to which the Deputy refers has not previously been brought to my Department's attention. I have asked my Department's inspectorate to investigate this child's needs with a view to arranging suitable educational provision as soon as possible.
