Ceist:

135 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 90 of 25 March 1998, the amounts received by Coillte for afforestation in each of the years from 1993 to 1997 without the involvement of farmer partnerships or other joint arrangements in afforestation grants, maintenance grants and premia under EU regulation 2080/92 included grants for reforestation of clear felled lands owned by Coillte; and, if not, if he will supply those figures. Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Dr. Woods):

The grant amounts referred to in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 90 of 25 March 1998 did not include any amounts in respect of reforestation of clear felled lands. Coilite has not been in receipt of any reforestation grants.
