Ceist:153 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will provide the necessary funding in 1999 for the refurbishing of Athy Courthouse, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2861/99]

Plans for the refurbishment of Athy Courthouse have been finalised and tender documents are being prepared at present. It is expected that work will commence on the courthouse in the autumn of this year.
