159 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will make funding available for the provision of the extra accommodation requested by the board of management of the community school in Rathmore, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2894/99]

The planning and building unit of my Department received an application on 15 December 1998 from the board of management of Rathmore community school for additional permanent accommodation. This application is being assessed at present by the Department.

At this early stage, the question of allocating funds does not arise.
