153 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance if remedial works will be carried out on the Mulaghi River at Castleview Drive, Castleisland, County Kerry (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3756/99]

The Mulaghi River is a tributary of the Maine catchment drainage scheme. The Office of Public Works proposes to carry out some maintenance works on this river during the coming maintenance season.
