57 Ms Coughlan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if funding will be made available in 1999 for the alleviation of serious coastal erosion at the shore in Mount charles, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3892/99]
Mountcharles is one of a large number of proposals for coast protection works submitted to my Department by local authorities around the country. These proposals are being considered in the context of prioritising coast protection projects for 1999 in line with available funding for this year.
