81 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance if he will allocate the existing employment exchange in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, for use as a community facility particularly in view of its location and suitability and the need for a community facility in this area. [3908/99]
The Office of Public Works holds the premises currently used as an employment exchange in Clondalkin under a lease which expires in 2020. If, when vacated, the premises are considered to be surplus to State requirements, the Commissioners of Public Works will wish to assign their interest in it under the full commercial terms which apply to the lease.
The commissioners would be willing, subject to the consent of the landlord and the approval of the Minister for Finance, to assign the lease to the community group on these terms.
