I am aware of the cases of the two people referred to in the question who have been charged with murder in the Philippines.
I have instructed that the details of their cases are to be forwarded to both the Irish Ambassador in Beijing, who is accredited to the Philippines, and to the Irish Permanent Representation to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva.
