Order of Business.

It is proposed to take expressions of sympathy on the death of Deputy Pat Upton. It is also proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, that on the conclusion of the expressions of sympathy the Dáil shall adjourn forthwith until 10.30 a.m. tomorrow as a mark of respect.

Oral questions for answer today by the Minister for Defence shall be taken at 3.45 p.m. on Thursday, 25 February, and shall conclude after one hour. The sequence established by the resolution of the Dáil of 26 June 1997 shall continue tomorrow with questions for the Minister for Agriculture and Food.

Are the proposals agreed? Agreed. We will now hear expressions of sympathy on the death of Deputy Pat Upton.
