305 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Cavan will be called for by-pass surgery in view of the fact he is on the waiting list in St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8, for over three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of health care in this instance is the responsibility of the hospital concerned. I have asked the chief executive of the hospital to investigate this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
