The Curragh Task Force is chaired by the former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces, Major-General P. Nowlan, and in addition to officials of the Department of Defence – both civilian and military – the following Departments-State agencies are represented on the task force: the Department of Agriculture and Food; the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands; the Department of the Environment and Local Government; the Department of Finance; the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform; Kildare County Council; and the Midlands East Regional Tourism Authority.
