200 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the plans, if any, he has to provide additional staff to the district veterinary office in County Roscommon in view of the severe shortage of staff; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6081/99]
I am not aware of any severe staff shortages in the district veterinary office in County Roscommon. My Department keeps the staffing situation in all areas under constant review and available staff resources will continue to be used to best effect to meet the requirements of the agriculture sector.
