I propose to take Questions Nos. 165 and 166 together.
Waterford Institute of Technology's application for approval to purchase the property at Carriganore was dated 19 May 1998, and was received in my Department on 22 May 1998.
The development plan for the main campus of the institute is under examination in my Department at present. A detailed consultation process has recently been completed between my Department and the institute, and a decision on the matter will be issued very shortly.
