Discovery Programme Limited is an archaeological research body which is funded by the Heritage Council from its allocation of funds from my Department's Vote. The funding for Discovery Programme Limited amounts to £770,000 in 1999.
The Heritage Council is responsible for appointing the chair and three directors of Discovery Programme Limited. The council has been furnished with Discovery Programme's corporate plan for the period 1996-2000.
