30 Mr. Flanagan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of special job task forces in operation; the date each force was established; the areas to which they relate; the target date, if any, for the reporting of progress; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Reports are made regularly to my Department on progress made by the task forces in discharging their functions. The main focus, through the development agencies and local interests, is on attracting replacement industry, assisting in the expansion of existing industry and providing retraining, where appropriate, for workers affected.
