202 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position in relation to a headage and area aid application for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9588/99]
The area aid application submitted was unsigned. A copy was issued to the applicant for confirmation that it was his and for his signature. The applicant also sought to include additional land on the application. This could not be facilitated as maps had not been received. My Department contacted the applicant and requested that he send in maps for the land in question. A reply was received but the maps supplied were insufficient. Further correspondence and maps have issued to the applicant. As soon as they are returned the matter can be finalised.
