298 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Finance the cost of construction work to date in relation to the raising and realignment of Moran's Bridge over the Royal Canal, Mullingar, County Westmeath; the overall budget for the project; and the expected completion date of the works. [9991/99]

The total expenditure to date for the works at Moran's Bridge is £1,145,435 while the overall budget is £1.5 million. The expected completion date is early May 1999.
