472 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a housing officer has visited Clonmel Garda station; if so, the findings of the officer; when work will be carried out; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9719/99]
The Garda housing officer visited Clonmel Garda station in February last and formed the view that, while the overall level of space in the building is adequate, works are needed to provide the standard facilities specified for a district headquarters station. Accordingly, the Office of Public Works has been requested to carry out a feasibility study to establish how best these facilities can be provided at this location.
