165 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 84 of 1 December 1998, he has received the necessary clarification to allow him to make a decision concerning the extraction of commercial quantities of sand and gravel from the main spawning bed outside Dunmore East; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The clarification sought from the applicant has been provided to my Department which hopes to be able to complete the examination of the proposal and make a recommendation to me within the next month. The applicant has been kept advised of the position.
