63 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his Department has been contacted by the Director of the Statute Law Division and Consolidation Unit of the Attorney General's office with a view to drawing up a programme and statute law revision and consolidation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that initial contacts have been made by the Director of the Statute Law Revision Unit of the Attorney General's office with my Department as a preliminary to the devising of proposals for revision and consolidation of areas of the law.
