41 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the position in relation to an application for a shellfish licence from a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11824/99]
The person in question has applied to my Department for a sea fishing boat licence permitting him to fish for bivalve molluscs. A licence offer, which is subject to certain conditions and requirements, has been made to him, and his application will be finalised expeditiously when his response to the licence offer is received.
