An architect from my Department recently visited St. Muras national school, Buncrana to inspect the existing accommodation and prepare a report. My Department's building unit is currently assessing the actions to be taken in the light of this report.
80 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science the consideration, if any, he has given the amended detailed design tender documents for the extension to St. Michael's College, Listowel, County Kerry; if the project will go to tender immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has recently received the revised Stage 4/5 mechanical and electrical documentation, detailed design and bill of quantities, for the proposed extension to the St. Michael's College, Listowel. This documentation is currently being examined by the technical staff of the building unit. As soon as this technical analysis has been completed, the question of the invitation of tenders will be considered.
