248 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science when his Department will be in touch with the school authorities who are being provided with a remedial service for the first time from 1 September 1999 to enable them finalise their arrangements for the coming school year. [15933/99]

I am pleased to advise the Deputy that letters were issued by my Department on Tuesday, 16 June to all schools which are receiving a remedial service for the first time.
