40 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment when she will bring forward regulations to require publicans to display prices outside their premises; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15853/99]

Work on drafting the regulations to require publicans to display their prices outside their premises has begun in my Department. Discussions are under way with interested parties, including the licensed trade, on the details of the regulations.
