93 Mrs. Owen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will provide a breakdown of the kind of jobs for which work permits to non-EU citizens have been granted since January 1999 to date; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15928/99]
Statistics regarding the jobs for which work permits were granted are not recorded. The category of work for which work permits were granted to employers to allow them to employ non European economic area nationals in the State are compiled on an annual basis. The full listing for the year 1998 is set out in the following table.
