129 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Finance if an application for a C2 tax clearance certificate by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath will be dealt with immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15874/99]
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's application for a C2 certificate has been approved and that the photocard which accompanies the C2 certificate is being produced and will be ready for collection as soon as possible. The inspector of taxes will notify the taxpayer when the arrangements for issuing the C2 certificate and photocard have been finalised.
