Written Answers. - Publicly Owned Companies.
The attached table shows, by sources of funding, the moneys provided for publicly owned companies in the 1999 public capital programme. The table shows investment by publicly owned companies on their own behalf, it does not cover bodies giving grant aid for investment by other parties.
These allocations provide for a substantial investment programme which will allow the companies involved to continue to make a major contribution to the development of the Irish economy.
