Ceist:100 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the fact that, in accepting a permanent position as lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, UCD, a person (details supplied) was assured that his daughter would be able to reside with him but a visa application in respect of her has been refused; his views on whether it is equitable or compatible with Irish family values that this man should be deprived of his parenting rights while residing here; if he will review this visa application; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
