171 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will have an extensification grant paid to him in view of the fact the required clarification concerning additional land has now been submitted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18947/99]
A 1998 amendment to his area aid application was received for the person named after the closing date and a postal certificate was requested from the applicant. The postal certificate was received by the area aid unit.
However, during processing of this amendment it was found that the maps supplied were not sufficient to finalise the application. A letter issued from the area aid unit to the applicant on 8 September 1999 requesting maps. No reply has been received to date. It is not possible therefore to process his application to completion.
