Written Answers - School Accommodation.

Dan Neville

Ceist:

346 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Education and Science when additional class accommodation will be provided for Pallaskenry school, County Limerick. [18607/99]

The current and projected level of pupil enrolments are taken into account in determining if additional classroom accommodation is warranted.

My Department carried out a review of pupil enrolments at Pallaskenry national school in November 1998 which revealed a projected decline in enrolments. A further review will now take place to ascertain both the current and long-term position.
