349 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress concerning funding for the proposed refurbishment works at Croghan national school, Boyle, County Roscommon; when he will approve funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18610/99]
My Department wrote to the board of management of Croghan national school, Boyle, County Roscommon in June 1999 authorising the commencement of architectural planning for refurbishing the school. The board was asked to appoint a design team and furnish certain confirmations to the building unit. This information is awaited.
The question of funding arises only when the project is ready for tender.
