Written Answers - Donation of Military Vehicles.

Ceist:

158 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Defence if he will respond to the request by the South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association to donate to it one of the many mini buses about to be disposed of at the Curragh Camp in view of the circumstances as outlined to his office recently. [19025/99]

Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith):

The military authorities have confirmed that a suitable ford transit is available for donation to the south eastern mountain rescue association. The Department will be in touch with the association in the near future to make the necessary arrangements for the handover of the vehicle.
