240 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the steps, if any, he will take to ensure that the Land Commission immediately vests the lands for a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21453/99]

The annuities payable on the accounts in this case have been in arrears for several years and it is not the practice to vest lands where accounts continue to be in arrears.
