566 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation with regard to the refurbishment of the Holy Cross convent in Kenmare, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21243/99]
The development project at Holy Cross convent in Kenmare has been planned in two separate phases. The first phase relates to the construction of a new school building while the second phase is concerned with the refurbishment of the Holy Cross convent building. A contractor is expected to be on site before the end of the year to undertake the first phase of the works while the architectural planning of the second phase is at an advanced stage.
